The Lifespan System®
The Lifespan
System® is a proprietary, patented manhole frame and cover
solution and is the first
system to be expressly developed for
the elimination of I/I at the top of manholes.
The Lifespan frame and the integrated,
tapered adjustment risers are made of a structural, elastomeric
solution that is
corrosion proof; leak proof; and unbreakable.
It has been field tested in one of the harshest road
environments on earth
for over 5 years. Extensive lab tests, in
addition to punishing traffic and weather, have confirmed that
this is the
“best in class” solution for collection systems.
Lifespan has been installed in the US
Midwest, Eastern Canada and shortly in other regions across North America.

Lifespan eliminates Inflow |
Cast iron
creates Inflow |
|

A "structural rubber" frame
integrated with tapered adjustment risers and a cast
iron or composite
cover (mechanically sealed to the frame) creates a
permanent inflow solution while protecting
manhole and pavement investments
|

Cast iron frames and covers corrode, don't
stay set to grade and don't provide a
water-tight seal; Cast iron frames destroy the tops
of concrete structures, resulting in
sunken manholes, broken pavement and
huge inflow problems
